Keep Moving Forward!

Last weekend, I took some time off from being active to engage in the popular sport of channel surfing. For me, sitting still for any length of time, especially while watching random television, is not my strong point. However, from time to time I do like to flip through the channels to see what captures my attention.

Change your mood… LAUGH OUT LOUD!

After weeks of no rain and facing a drought here in South Florida, the skies decided to open up. The first two days of rain were a welcomed change. The lawns were turning green, the plants were perking up, and some of the water traps at the local golf course were looking less like sand traps. We needed rain and it had arrived. Life was good.

When day 5 of rain collided with the long weekend, I must admit I was less than thrilled. Although I knew we still needed water to offset the weeks of no rain, this did not help to overcome the disappointment I felt knowing that my outdoor weekend plans would need to be changed.
