Summertime Vacation & Business Planning
This past week I decided to make some summertime vacation plans. I don’t know about you, but for me vacation planning is a big event. First, I have to figure out where to go. Because I have decided to go “home” to New England, I also need to find the right balance between seeing family and friends, and taking time to relax, rejuvenate and to enjoy the scenic views…
Next comes researching airfares, hotels and rental cars to find the best values. Finally, I like to create an itinerary even though I know I probably won’t follow it.
As I was immersed in vacation planning, I realized now was also the perfect time to focus on business planning. A time to check in on my progress towards my goals and to develop a strategy for the remainder of the year.
That’s when I decided to create a plan for my Summer of Success! I knew that summer was a manageable period of time and I was determined to make it FUN as well.
