Having FUN while focusing on Health & Wellness

This weekend I continued on my quest to enjoy South Florida during the off-season.  Although I must admit the temperature was a bit high even for me, I really enjoyed being out and about after a busy week in the office and attending numerous networking meetings and events.  I also really enjoyed the fact that my car has an air conditioner!

For me, and perhaps for you, the beginning of summer is a time to refocus on health and wellness.  Although I remain active and eat a fairly healthy diet, there is always room for improvement.

After visiting the “Disney: The Music Behind the Magic 1928 – Today” exhibit at the Norton Museum of Art and a quick tour of the Flagler Museum, I headed north to a local farm stand in Stuart, Florida for fresh fruits and veggies.  I also took time out for a walk along the ocean….

Whether working to improve myself or my business, I look for opportunities to bring small, enjoyable changes into my existing way of life, rather than making dramatic changes that would be difficult to maintain.  I’d rather have fun while searching for fresh produce at farm stands and exploring the South Florida outdoors, than drinking meal replacement shakes and logging time on a treadmill.  I know that when I enjoy something, it is easier for me to keep doing it.  How about you?
